The ENGAGE4X4 snorkel for the Land Rover Defender was developed for absolutely professional applications on expeditions / long distance trips in dusty regions. It was perfectly designed to fit the vehicle in 3D and can be mounted with or without Defender outer cage.
Especially important is the so-called Pre-Cleaner of the ENGAGE4X4 snorkel.
The life of the air filter is directly related to the amount of dirt that is picked up by the engine air intake. By installing a Turbine PreCleaner, the first stage of the air intake system prevents virtually all heavier-than-air particles from entering the system. This results in longer air cleaner life, more efficient engine performance and lower maintenance costs.

The ENGAGE4X4 mounting clamp is used for stable and reliable mounting of the raised air intake on the Land Rover Defender. Especially in forest areas, it came with the previous attachment of the orignal Mantec snorkel to problems. Stable mounting for the snorkel on the outer cage The ENGAGE4X4 cage mounting clamp is made of 5 mm steel. The clamp is made by an M8 hexagon socket screw. This makes it virtually impossible to tear off the air intake, due to foreign impact in difficult terrain.
