The reinforced clutch for the Land Rover Defender TD4 is manufactured in Germany according to TS16949. It is designed much stronger than the original Land Rover clutch. The reinforced clutch for Land Rover Defender TD4 - all models are self-adjusting. The original clutch of the Defender TD4 is quickly overloaded under load off-road or in trailer operation. It glazes after a short time and overheats quickly. The reinforced clutch kit is suitable for all Land Rover Defender TD4 from year of manufacture 2007 - 2016.
Technical details of the reinforced clutch
The reinforced clutch set is equipped with a more massive housing a double spring clutch automatic and a 4 mm larger friction surface. This ensures a much better torque transmission. In the clutch disc are stronger torsion springs and stronger disc springs under the lining. The special orifice plate provides a slight deceleration when starting the clutch
to reduce the load change slap somewhat and to relieve the drive train.
