The Gordigear Explorer Plus awning is made of the same fabric as the roof tent flysheet. It is attached to the tent via a sail track and zipper mechanism and consists of four walls (back wall with flap for access to the vehicle) and a removable heavy duty floor (attachment via zipper). All openings are mosquito net protected and can be fully closed.

Although the Explorer Plus awning can be used for the same purposes as the Explorer awning, its main advantage is that it provides additional sleeping space for up to two adults in an enclosed and protected environment. Of course, the roof tent ladder in the extension has its advantages, especially in the rain. In addition, entrance and access openings are vertically offset to create a watertight base and prevent rainwater from flowing into the outbuilding, for example, from underneath the car. We also offer optional height extensions to accommodate exceptionally tall bodies.
