The height-adjustable ENGAGE4X4 shock domes for the Land Rover Defender front axle allow, for example, the installation of higher springs in conjunction with shock absorbers in original length or vice versa. There is also the possibility to improve the axle articulation on the front axle, especially with progressive springs with coil-off on the front axle.

ENGAGE4X4 quality suspension for Land Rover Defender

Fully manufactured in the EU, these ENGAGE4X4 height adjustable shock domes for the Defender can be raised to various heights from 50mm to 100mm lowered. This allows to find the right compromise between articulation and spring preload for any suspension / shock combination. The damper domes are made of 6 mm thick high-strength steel (S355), welded using TIG technology, galvanized and coated with polyester powder. The damper domes are particularly resistant to chemicals and weathering. They are also scratch and abrasion resistant.

Indispensable when the driving range has to be changed quickly or when the shock absorbers have to be replaced. The actual amount of suspension travel required is not known or cannot be determined. It is possible to install shock absorbers longer than the original ones, even if the standard springs or shock absorbers are longer than the actual upward travel of the springs, without losing compression or spring preload or, on the contrary, to install shock absorbers shorter than the spring height without losing travel. The right compromise between the two extremes!
