The original suspension of the Land Rover Defender quickly reaches its limits when subjected to higher loads, such as on long road trips with heavy loads or when towing a trailer. The problem here is not necessarily the suspension springs, but rather the undersized shock absorbers. Not everyone likes a suspension lift at the same time the driving characteristics of the Defender or Discovery 1 or Range Rover Classic with the original chassis are also not everyone's cup of tea. We took this as an opportunity to develop a damper that absorbs more load and at the same time improves the driving characteristics under higher load permanently significantly. The combination of the original suspension often reaches its limits with small load differences. Most of the Defender suspensions on the market are with height adjustment. The shock absorbers are usually adapted to the raising chassis in length and can thus not be used for the standard springs.
